The Vapor Pro 3 provides bounce and burst from side-to-side movements to scrambles to the net, so you can stay in the point. With springy Air Zoom cushioning and Nike Claybreaker technology that makes the shoe lighter than previous Vapors, it’s primed to last to match point on the red dirt.
- Clay Crafted - Nike Claybreaker technology helps give you enhanced traction and less buildup on clay courts. Added grip in the forefoot and midfoot work with a wide traction pattern to help you slide with control. We used traction maps, pressure maps and analyzed clay buildup areas for the design. Then we tested it on red-clay courts in Europe in multiple clay-weather conditions (cold, warm, wet and dry).
- Improved Feel - We kept the same midsole and outsole you loved on the Vapor 2 and improved the locked-feel around the midfoot and heel for better, shaper cuts. The collar is more comfortable than it was on the 2, too.
- Forefoot Flexibility - The forefoot is more flexible because we shrunk the forefoot Air Zoom unit. You still get the responsive cushioning at the highest push-off point of your forefoot, but now there’s more flex.
- Deeper Flex - The supportive forefoot piece features a deeper flex notch to improve flexibility. And there’s more grip and stick on the forefoot piece as well.
