The lute/scarifier is two tools in one, made if all aluminum for scarifying, leveling and removing loose granules. It is strong and sturdy, yet light enough to use all day, and excellent for spreading new material during topdressing. The concave shape of the 48" wide blade allows the tool to "float" along the surface, without grabbing or digging in.
